- I am a 16-times grandfather who has worked most of my life as a government employee. Now I spend my spare time reading, drawing, and working hard on my farm in West Virginia. Since that house is heated solely by a wood-burning stove, I spend a lot of time caring for the 40 acres of woods.

Wow- this is very good. I especially like the accuracy of all the highlights and shadows. Was it done in red and white on gray paper? Excellent proportioning as well. I think ears are hard, but this all looks very natural. (I realize you had a very still model to work from, but excellent even so.) Bravo!
Hey I recognize that handsome guy! It looks like you've just gotten a lot more comfortable with techniques and loose with the drawing. nice work!
